Crispy Fried Eggs with Ricotta & Hot Honey

Ingredients

● 2 large eggs

● 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

● 1⁄2 cup fresh ricotta cheese

● 1 tbsp hot honey (or to taste)

● Flaky sea salt, to taste

● Freshly ground black pepper

● Optional garnish: crushed red pepper flakes, chives, or microgreens

Instructions

1. Heat the oil: In a small nonstick skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until

shimmering.

2. Fry the eggs: Crack in the eggs and cook until whites are set, edges are deeply golden,

and yolks are still soft (about 2 minutes).

3. Plate: Spread a generous spoonful of ricotta on a plate or toast.

4. Top: Place the eggs over the ricotta and drizzle with hot honey.

5. Season & Serve: Sprinkle with flaky salt, pepper, and optional garnishes. Serve

immediately.

Chef’s Note

For extra crisp edges, tilt the pan slightly and spoon hot oil over the egg whites as they fry.
